Steve Nash Returns to Action for Lakers
Like many his age, Steve Nash has a bad back. Two days ago he believed his season to be over.
But an injury to backup point guard Jordan Farmar changed things for Nash and the Lakers, and Friday, the 40-year-old former MVP was back on the court, a magician among Wizards, the man behind the few signs of life for the Lakers throughout most of a 117-107 loss to Washington.
“He just keeps himself ready,” Coach Mike D’Antoni said. “Whenever a game breaks out he’ll be ready to go. It’s just another thing he does.”
