The Thunder’s short-handed coaching staff got a bit stronger on Monday afternoon. Assistant Mo Cheeks, who is now off crutches after hip surgery last month, was out on the court working with Russell Westbrook.
Starting Tuesday against the Rockets, Cheeks will be back on the sidelines, behind the bench instead of his customary spot next to Billy Donovan, until his health allows it.
