When Will Nuggets’ JaVale McGee Return?

Denver Nuggets coach Brian Shaw said Wednesday that while he expects all four of the “missing Nuggets” who are all recovering from major leg injuries to miss Wednesday night’s preseason tilt vs. the Thunder, that three of the four players should be back by the start of the regular season.

But of the four, Shaw said that center JaVale McGee is “probably the furthest away” from being back. McGee suffered a stress fracture in his left tibia last November, and missed all but five games last season after an initial prognosis expected him to return in the spring.
