Will Cartwright Hear from Knicks, Warriors?
After emerging as a top choice to be an assistant for Steve Kerr in the Knicks job, Bill Cartwright is back to square one, waiting to hear back from Phil Jackson and Kerr to determine whether he will return to the bench, either in New York or Golden State.
Walking back to his Manhattan hotel on Saturday after an event in the city organized by the networking company Thuzio, which he said also involved J.R. Smith, Cartwright told the Daily News he’s been in recent contact with Jackson and is in the running to land on the Golden State Warriors bench. But he was tight lipped about everything else.
