Williams Comfortable Coming Off Nets’ Bench
Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams says he’s comfortable coming off the bench as long as the team’s starters keep playing well.
“I’m all for the team. It doesn’t really matter to me,” said Williams, who came off the bench in Friday afternoon’s 109-107 victory over the Boston Celtics following a two-game absence due to a strained right calf and had eight points, four assists and four rebounds in 21 minutes. I’m still trying to get my rhythm back and obviously I’m on a minutes restriction right now, so I’m all for it.”
