The Denver Nuggets acquired guard Aaron Brooks from the Houston Rockets in exchange for swingman Jordan Hamilton, the Nuggets announced Thursday.

Brooks, 29, averaged 7.0 points and 1.9 assists in 16.7 minutes for the Rockets this season.

Hamilton averaged 6.8 points for the Nuggets this season in 39 games, including 11 starts.
