Oakland’s Bader sets career 3-point record

Guard Travis Bader of Oakland University set the NCAA Division I record for most 3-pointers made in a career on Sunday, breaking the mark of 457 set by Duke’s J.J. Redick.
Bader entered Sunday’s game against Milwaukee two 3-pointers behind Redick. He missed his first 3-point shot but made his next four.
He broke Redick’s record with a shot from the right corner with 6:17 left in the first half.
He finished with 21 points, making of 6-of-11 3-pointers, giving him 461 for his career.
Despite Bader’s achievement, Milwaukee won the game 86-64.
