Golden State Warriors big man Anderson Varejao is likely to miss the upcoming Olympics in his native Brazil due to a back injury, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that, after a Monday examination in Los Angeles by noted back specialist Dr. Robert Watkins, it’s been recommended to Varejao that he skip the Olympics.
