Boban Marjanovic of the San Antonio Spurs will not play for Serbia in the EuroBasket tournament this summer because of a left ankle injury.The 7-foot-3 Marjanovic signed with the Spurs last month.
The Spurs say tests, including an MRI, show he has “significant bony edema” that “compromises Marjanovic’s ability to play basketball without compromising long-term health and future injury.”
