(Boban) Marjanovic finished with eight rebounds in 22 minutes — second on the Spurs behind Tim Duncan’s nine — and earned some backhanded praise from (Gregg) Popovich.
“Boban was great,” Popovich said. “I just wish he’d shoot it once in a while. He’s scared to death to shoot. Like he’s afraid I’m going to send him off to a camp somewhere, and he’s never going to be seen again.”
