Stuckey Says Pistons ‘not on the same page’
But the Pistons — who entered this season with owner Tom Gores making publicly known that he fully expects a playoff berth — were 19-27 entering Monday’s game at the Miami Heat and in danger of missing the postseason for the fifth consecutive time.
“It seems like every year there’s new players who you’re trying to get accustomed to,” (Rodney) Stuckey told USA TODAY Sports by phone recently. “It’s just trying to figure each other out and all being on the same page. I really don’t think right now …”
He pauses ever so slightly.
“We’re not on the same page,” he continued. “It’s difficult to try to go out there and try to win games and win games consistently.”
