Tristan Thompson Joins Team After Contract Standoff
Tristan Thompson reported to Cleveland Cavaliers training camp Friday, a day after inking a five-year, $82 million extension with the franchise. “We took care of business, and I’m glad to be back with my family and teammates and ready to get the season started,” Thompson said.
The fifth-year veteran was absent for more than three weeks during his contract holdout, spending the time working out in Miami.
