Warriors ‘Edgy’, ‘Upset’ Prior to Rout
Golden State never trailed against its budding rival, and after a lackluster finish to the second quarter, the Warriors emerged from the locker room on fire and went on a 16-2 run that led to the crushing of the Clippers.
The mood had been different hours earlier, with (Andrew) Bogut saying the team was “edgy” during its pregame shootaround as coaches and players expressed their feelings on the team’s recent downward trend.
“As a team, we were upset,” coach Mark Jackson said.
