The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day

Metta World Peace may be out of the NBA for the moment, but he’s still finding ways to keep his name out there. Check out this hilarious video staring Metta, the Jabbawockeez and a Cookie Monster doll? If anybody knows what’s going on in Metta’s mind, please let us all know.

Fan of the Night

This Stanford fan is awarded the best cowbell player, hands down! Stanford’s student band is a pretty wacky group, but this kid might hurt himself or others if he’s not careful.

Game-Winner of the Night

Jazz point guard Trey Burke showed he has ice water in his veins after nailing this game-winning three-pointer against the Magic. Way to send the fans home happy, rook! Magic guard Arron Afflalo is really kicking himself for missing that free throw.

Dunks of the Night

Both these dunks were so nasty and vicious we couldn’t choose a favorite so we need your help to decide. The first is Raptors guard Terrence Ross adding another incredibly athletic slam to his resume. Next, Bobcats forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist nearly decapitates poor Meyers Leonard from the Blazers. You need to think before you jump Meyers, MKG takes no prisoners.

‘Defense’ of the Day

Ok, so Kings forward Quincy Acy clearly takes playing defense a little too seriously as he swats away his two-year-old son’s shot attempt. Quincy won’t let his boy get anything easy, even at his young age.

Instagram of the Day

Even though Grizzlies forward Quincy Pondexter is out with injury, he knows he needs to stop and get a photo with singer John Mayer if he gets a chance.

Kicks of the Day

AND 1 is starting to make a sneaker come-back and Pacers guard Lance Stephenson is leading the charge with these sick black and yellows. His portrait being inscribed on the tongue is just bonus material.
