MILWAUKEE — Point guard Brandon Knight scored 14 points as the Milwaukee Bucks snapped a four-game home losing streak with a 98-84 victory over the Timberwolves Friday night at the Bradley Center.

Knight hit 5 of 10 shots and knocked down a pair of 3-pointers to lead a Milwaukee offense that got 12 points each from guard O.J. Mayo and forward John Henson and 10 each from guard Khris Middleton and forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Shooting guard Andrew Wiggins led the Timberwolves with 20 points on 6-for-17 shooting, and he also had seven rebounds and five assists. He has scored 20 or more in six straight games, a rookie franchise record, but Minnesota shot only 39 percent.

Forwards Shabazz Muhammad and Thaddeus Young each added 12 points for the Timberwolves, who have lost 14 consecutive games.

Slow out of the gate, the Bucks made 14 of 17 shots in the second quarter, including five 3-pointers, to take a 53-38 lead into halftime. Middleton and Mayo each hit two from distance in the half and combined for 14 points.

The Bucks cooled off in the third quarter, making just 8 of 20, but the Timberwolves couldn’t take advantage and fell behind by as many 20 in the fourth.

Forward Kenyon Martin was on the court to open the final quarter for Milwaukee. In his first action since Feb. 1, 2014, Martin made all three of his field-goal attempts to finish with six points. He also pulled down a pair of rebounds in eight minutes of work.
