Reviews of the Best Minnesota Betting Apps & Mobile Sites
The Gopher State doesn’t technically have any Minnesota betting apps. It does, however, have plenty of fine operators that offer instant mobile betting. Instant wagering lets you place bets directly through your mobile browser. That said, here are our top five recommendations for Minnesota Android and iOS bettors.
1. BetOnline – The Best Mobile Sports Betting App in Minnesota
BetOnline wasn’t always the top choice for Minnesota sports betting apps. It has climbed to the top, though, after improving its mobile layout and functionality. This bookmaker now offers the top mobile experience thanks to its user-friendly setup and fast loading times. It features a handy “All Sports” menu that lets you quickly access markets.
They also do a great job of offering different bet types. In addition to money lines, spreads, and totals, you’ll find many prop bets and futures here. Simply put, you won’t lack any options when looking for interesting wagers on NBA stalwarts, the Minnesota Timberwolves, etc.
You will consistently find BetOnline’s odds across all the sports they have markets on to be some of the best around. They also get their odds up earlier than most other sites meaning you can get your bets in early. Once a game starts BetOnline also offers an intuitive live betting interface where you can even stream some matches.
The BetOnline sports bonus offers a 50% match on your first deposit up to $1,000. We’d like to see a 100% match, but we like the size of this offer. You can opt for a 100% match crypto bonus if you don’t like the 50% deal. BetOnline also offers 25% match sports reload bonuses permanently.
Betting App
A common theme among all offshore sites, BetOnline doesn’t offer an MN sports betting app. It does feature instant mobile wagering, though, and lets you bet through an Android or iOS device.
You just need to visit BetOnline through an iPhone or Android and sign up to get started. The mobile version is comparable to the desktop version regarding features and options.
Mobile Betting Bonus
You can qualify for a 50% match deposit bonus of up to $1,000 by signing up with code BOL1000. BetOnline also provides a 100% match on your first cryptocurrency deposit. It accepts crypto deposits through Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
What we like:
- User-friendly mobile layout
- Many markets and bet types
- Large welcome
- Permanent sports reload bonuses
What we don’t:
- 50% match on regular welcome bonus
- High credit card fees
2. BetNow- Only App With Sportsbook Rebate
You are not going to find as many different sports with markets at this MN betting app compared to others but that isn’t necessarily a negative. If you love betting on the most popular sports in the USA like football, baseball hockey, soccer, and basketball then BetNow is a superb choice.
Like a good restaurant, BetNow has reduced its “menu size” but has ensured that what they do offer is of the highest quality. There are deep betting lines with highly competitive odds on the NHL, NFL, NBA, and MLB, this includes many prop betting options. You can also find lines on soccer, UFC, boxing, tennis, eSports, and occasional entertainment markets.
BetNow caters to all types of gamblers whether you are a high roller or a casual bettor who prefers to spend a few dollars on bets you are well looked after. There are various secure and reliable banking options including Bitcoin, debit and credit cards, P2P, and bank transfers, with deposits ranging from just $10 all the way up to $40,000 and withdrawal limits are $5-$15,000.
Betting App
There is no downloadable betting app available from BetNow instead they offer a fully optimized mobile site that you can access from the browser on any type of mobile device. Functionally the site is great with easy access to different pages via menu tabs, however, we think the site could update its look as it looks a bit old-fashioned compared to some other mobile betting apps.
Mobile Betting Bonus
When it comes to welcome bonuses no other site gives you the options that BetNow does. Rather than offering just one or two choices as most online sportsbooks do you can choose from four here all with different percentages and Ts & Cs, whether you are looking for big amounts or small rollover requirements, there is an option for you.
Additionally, you can find a myriad of other ways to get your hands on some extra cash including a sportsbook rebate so even if you lose you make money. There are reload bonuses up to 25%, a 50% refer-a-friend bonus, and weekly competitions with thousands of dollars in prizes.
What we like:
- Sportsbook rebate
- Choose from four different welcome bonuses
- Specializes in US sports
- Deposits range from $10-$40,000
What we don’t:
- The app looks slightly old-fashioned
- Not as any sports as other sites
3. Bovada – Boasts a Large Range of Betting Markets
The Bovada mobile sportsbook has a key advantage over the desktop version. The latter only offers previews of the sportsbook until you sign up. Meanwhile, Bovada’s mobile Minnesota betting site displays everything right away so that you can make an informed decision.
The mobile layout lists major sections at the bottom, instead of on the top or side. This setup takes some getting used to if you’re not familiar with traditional formats. Nevertheless, you shouldn’t have too much trouble using Bovada on your mobile.
This site offers a wide range of markets, including everything from football to water polo. Chances are, you’ll find any market that you’re interested in here. You can also enjoy numerous live betting opportunities at Bovada.
Betting App
The Bovada mobile sportsbook is quickly accessible after landing on the homepage. Once at the sportsbook, you’ll need to use the bottom menu to find all markets (i.e. “All Sports”). You can then select the desired sport and begin checking out the odds.
Mobile Betting Bonus
The Bovada bonus code offers a 50% match on your first deposit up to $250. It comes with 5x rollover, which is half the industry standard (10x). Therefore, you have a stronger chance of profiting from this deal versus other Minnesota sports betting bonuses.
What we like:
- Offers many markets
- Large live wagering section
- Fast withdrawals
- Low bonus rollover (5x)
What we don’t:
- Mobile setup is unusual
- Certain withdrawal options come with fees
4. Everygame – Win Tickets to Major Sporting Events
Everygame is an esteemed licensed sportsbook that has been operating since the 1990s. It’s well known for its fast and reliable payouts as well as superb live betting and bonuses.
There is live betting action 24/7 with Everygame as they cover a variety of sports across the globe. They have some of the best in-play odds which update in real time so you won’t miss out on any of the action. When betting on any live action the different types of bets available can be filtered making it effortless to find the bet you want.
Check, credit and debit cards, bank transfers, P2P, and crypto are all supported at this mobile gambling site and there are zero fees for any deposit method. Withdrawals via crypto and P2P are also free but there are fees for check and bank transfers, however, the fees are lower than most other sites set at a flat $50 rate.
Betting App
The mobile site is user-friendly with lots of tabs neatly tucked away under two separate menu buttons is the top right and top left so you can switch between different areas of the site quickly and easily. The bet slip on mobile devices is also great with it easy to place parlays and other multi bets and is accessible from wherever you are on the app.
Mobile Betting Bonus
There are no mobile-specific Everygame promo codes, however, you can claim all of the same bonus codes available on the desktop site straight from your cell phone. This includes a generous welcome bonus, spread over your first three deposits. Other bonuses and promotions include free NFL bets, special parlay offers, and even competitions to win tickets to big events like the Super Bowl and March Madness.
What we like:
- Special parlay offers
- Excellent live-betting interface
- Al deposit methods are free
- Win tickets to major sporting events
What we don’t:
- A limited number of cryptocurrencies supported
- Relatively low deposit and withdrawal limits
5. BetUS – One of the Best Welcome Bonuses for Minnesota Bettors
BetUS is a trusted offshore brand that’s been running since 1994. It has lasted this long thanks to solid customer service (24/7) and frequent promotions. This betting site also offers BetUS TV, a unique service that delivers predictions and picks on NFL, MLB, NHL, and European soccer games (among other sports).
Moving to mobile wagering, BetUS has an unusual setup compared to many operators. It requires you to select a couple of options before reaching the desired market. In contrast, most sports betting sites merely require you to select the Sportsbook option. Even the BetUS desktop version sends you straight to the markets and bet types after doing so.
We’re willing to overlook this minor inconvenience, though, when considering everything BetUS Minnesota offers. This bookmaker especially gains points for its massive welcome bonus. Your first deposit qualifies for a 100% match crypto sports bonus worth up to $2,500.
Betting App
The BetUS mobile sportsbook takes at least a few seconds to adjust to. After getting acclimated, you’ll find that the mobile version offers many markets and bet types. You can also access BetUS TV through the main menu in the top-right corner.
Mobile Betting Bonus
The top BetUS bonus code for mobile sports gamblers is a 100% match crypto deal worth up to $2,500. This offer also includes the option for a 25% match casino bonus of up to $625 ($3,125 total value). It’s still worth more than any other bonus on the market, though, even without the casino portion involved.
What we like:
- Industry’s biggest sports betting bonus
- Long-running and trusted brand
- 24/7 support
- BetUS TV
What we don’t:
- Requires multiple steps to find mobile markets
- Mobile interface is cramped

Comparing the Best Minnesota Sports Betting Apps and Mobile Sites
Again, you won’t technically find any Minnesota sports betting apps in this state. The list below reflects the lack of Minnesota sports betting apps. You will, however, notice that all listed bookmakers offer mobile wagering through their websites. They also feature mobile bonuses and live betting.
Sportsbook Betting App Sign-Up Bonus Mobile Bonus Live Mobile Betting Live Mobile Streaming BetOnline ❌ 50% up to $1,000 ✅ ✅ ✅ BetNow ❌ 100% up to $1,000 ✅ ✅ ✅ Bovada ❌ 75% up to $750 ✅ ✅ ✅ Everygame ❌ 100% up to $750 (3 x $250) ✅ ✅ ❌ BetUS ❌ 125% up to $2,500 ✅ ✅ ✅ MyBookie ❌ 50% up to $1,000 ✅ ✅ ❌ BUSR ❌ 150% up to $2,500 ✅ ✅ ❌ Sportsbetting.ag ❌ 50% up to $1,000 ✅ ✅ ✅ XBet ❌ 50% up to $500 ✅ ✅ ❌ Mega Dice ❌ 200% up to 1 BTC ✅ ✅ ❌ How We Rank the Best Minnesota Betting Apps & Mobile Sites
The top MN betting apps and mobile websites don’t necessarily share the same pros and cons. Some excel in certain areas and struggle in others versus their counterparts. Therefore, we look at several pieces of criteria to evaluate these mobile sportsbooks and this is how we rank them.
Mobile Betting Experience
The entire point of mobile online sports betting is to have a good experience. A quality Minnesota sports betting app or mobile website will offer user-friendly features, fast-loading pages, and a clean layout. As for features, a menu, lobby filters, and subcategories are helpful for quickly finding sports and wager types.
Sports Betting Apps
You may prefer Minnesota betting apps if you’re used to downloading and using apps. As covered earlier, no MN betting apps are currently available in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. You’ll need to use instant mobile wagering at any Minnesota online sportsbook.
Mobile Sports Betting Bonuses
Almost every sports betting site offers a mobile bonus to entice new players. Of course, these offers can differ greatly in terms of size, match percentages, and rollover. The best Minnesota sports betting bonuses offer a combination of lots of potential cash, a 100% match, and low rollover. Regarding the latter, bonus rollover between 5x and 10x is acceptable.
Live Mobile Betting & Streaming
Live betting should be a feature at the best Minnesota betting apps or mobile websites, and it is now widely available, giving bettors the chance to place wagers once a game is underway. However, live streaming is more hit and miss. Less than half of the Minnesota mobile betting sites we reviewed offer live streams of sports matches.
Banking Options
When it comes to mobile gambling, more banking options are better. Ideally, you’ll have access to credit cards, eWallets, and cryptocurrencies (most notably Bitcoin). A Minnesota mobile sportsbook gains bonus points for accepting bank transfers and/or prepaid cards.
Customer Service
Any Minnesota betting app or mobile site should have knowledgeable and friendly support. Those that don’t will soon find themselves struggling and failing to retain customers. Additionally, customer service should be available through multiple contact methods. Live chat, phone, and email support represent the trifecta for support contacts.
Licensing & Security
Serious and trustworthy mobile betting sites obtain licensing and operate legally in their given jurisdiction(s). We only promote licensed bookmakers to Minnesotans. Licensed operators are willing to go through a vetting process, pay the necessary fees, and follow their jurisdiction’s laws.
Are Sports Betting Apps Legal in Minnesota?
Minnesota betting apps and mobile wagering sites lie in a gray area. The Gopher State doesn’t have any specific laws defining the legality of mobile sports betting. As a result, some offshore betting sites have been serving Minnesota for over a quarter-century.
There was a lot of optimism that sports betting would be legalized in 2023 under the HF as the House and the Senate were both controlled by the DFL and HF2000 had support from native tribes which had previously opposed sports betting legislation in the state. However, the bill failed to pass before the legislative session adjourned on May 2022.
Previous Sports Betting Bills in Minnesota
There have been multiple efforts to legalize sports betting in Minnesota over the years but so far all have failed at some stage in the process. Below we take at look at the previous sports betting bills introduced in Minnesota.
- HF1278 – Republican senators sponsored this bill and it was supported by the DFL. However, there was opposition from native tribes. It was introduced into the house on 18/04/2019 and corresponding SF1894 made it to the senate but failed to pass.
- HF769 – Introduced into the house on the 4th of February 2021, it was referred to Commerce Finance and Policy where it died.
- HF767 – Also introduced to the house on 04/02/2021 the bill looked to legalize sports betting and also set up sports betting laws around sports betting crimes and taxation. It was referred to Commerce Finance and Policy where it also died
- HF 778 – Introduced into the house in February 2021. There were several amendments made to the bill before it passed in the House in May 2022. The legislation failed to pass in the Senate in 2022 as a consensus over licensing could not be reached.
- HF2000 – This bill was introduced on 20/02/2023 it was sponsored by Rep. Stephenson and Rep. Hout. The bill saw many amendments and the corresponding Senate Bill SF1949 failed to pass after being referred to finance.
How to Sign Up to a Minnesota Betting App & Mobile Site
MN mobile betting sites make it easy to sign up and place wagers. The general process for registering and depositing at Minnesota online sportsbooks is as follows:
1. Register an Account
Visit the homepage via an Android or iPhone and select “Join” or “Sign Up.”
2. Enter your Details
Fill out the registration form, including your basic details: name, age, country of residence, etc., and submit it.
3. Select your Payment Method
Visit the cashier section and just select your banking method. Do remember that some bonuses are only available with particular banking methods. If you wish to take advantage of a ‘crypto welcome offer,’ for example, then don’t select Mastercard.
4. Enter Promo Code
If your sportsbook requires a promotional code to unlock the welcome bonus, this is usually the time that you will be asked to enter it.
5. Make a Deposit
Make a deposit and claim your welcome bonus. Once this is complete, you should find that you’re able to bet on sports, esports, and your welcome bonus, if not available instantly, is generally released within 24 hours.
Types of Minnesota Mobile Betting Bonuses
The Minnesota betting market is filled with opportunities to earn extra money. Depending upon the sportsbook, you can take advantage of a welcome bonus, no deposit, free bets, and more. Here’s a closer look at common bonuses in the MN market.
Welcome Bonus
Welcome bonuses are hallmarks of the online sports betting industry. Minnesota betting apps and mobile websites are no different because they all provide welcome deals. The most common welcome bonus is a match on your first deposit, typically of 50% to 100%.
Each welcome bonus can differ in size from the next one. The BetUS bonus is the pinnacle regarding size because it offers up to $2,500 for sports betting alone. It includes an additional 25% match bonus up to $625 for casino games.
No Deposit Bonus
A no deposit bonus is unique because it provides a free chance at money. All you need to do is sign up to receive a bonus. For example, you might register and receive a $25 free bet on the player props market at BetOnline.
We don’t currently know of any mobile sites or betting apps in Minnesota that offer a no deposit bonus without at least having to register. However, such deals can become available from time to time. If you find a Minnesota betting no deposit bonus, register and go for it since it equates to a free bet.
Existing Customer Promotions
Successful Minnesota betting sites realize the value of retaining loyal customers. These operators continue offering promotions to existing bettors to keep them around. Such promos can include deposit bonuses, crypto bonuses, free bets, and more.
BetOnline does a nice job of continually running promotions for existing players. It features a 25% match reload bonus that’s redeemable an unlimited number of times. It also provides multiple crypto betting deposit bonuses.
Free Bets
A free bet lets you place a free wager in hopes of winning money. It allows you to keep the winnings, minus the stake. If you win $20 on a $25 free wager, for example, then you get $20—not $45.
Free bets can be part of welcome bonuses or promotions for existing players. Everygame, for instance, gives out 20 free bets worth $50 apiece every week. You just need to lose a parlay by 1 point to get into this weekly drawing.
Payment Methods available at Minnesota Betting Apps
Secure and reliable payments are one of the most important aspects we look for when ranking the best Minnesota betting apps. All of the offshore sportsbooks that we have reviewed in this article provide a variety of banking options. Each of the different methods comes with its pros and cons. In the table below we run through some information on three of the most popular banking methods.
Payment Method About Examples Cryptocurrencies Withdrawals take 0-60 minutes | Generally free for deposits and withdrawals | Decentralized so not associated with financial institutions | Provide anonymity Bitcoin, Ripple, Tether, Ethereum, Dogecoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Tron Traditional Payment Methods Can take between 3-15 days for withdrawals depending on the method | Fees for withdrawals and sometimes deposits | Processed by banks and financial institutions | Will need to provide ID before withdrawals in most cases Credit & Debit cards, Bank Transfers, Check, Money Order e-Wallets Normally no fees from sportsbooks | Provide extra security | Fast transaction speeds PayPal, Neteller, Skrill Popular Sports to Bet on at Minnesota Betting Apps
At the top Minnesota mobile sportsbooks, you will find an assortment of sports with extensive betting lines available. From niche sports like handball and water polo to the widely followed sports like basketball and football, you can wager on them at them straight from your mobile device. We discuss some of the popular sports to gamble on in the North Star State below.
NFL and NCAAF at MN Betting Apps
The Minnesota Vikings in the NFL and the Golder Gophers college football team are widely followed in the state and betting on both these leagues is just as popular. Football offers up a variety of prop betting and futures options on top of the standard spread, totals and moneyline bets. BetOnline and BetNow are two of the best NFL betting apps around.
NBA and NCAAB Wagering on Minnesota Betting Apps
Wagering on the Minnesota Timberwolves and other NBA teams is a favored pastime of many a resident in the state as not only are there games on almost every day during the NBA season and Playoffs but like football, there’s a wide range of prop and spread betting opportunities. March Madness is also one of the biggest betting events in the US and Everygame and Bovada are two of our favorite basketball and NBA betting apps.
Wagering on the NHL at MN Betting Apps
MyBookie and Everygame are two of the premier destinations for NHL betting that offer competitive odds on the puck line, period betting, and in-play betting. Both during the regular season and in the Stanley Cup Playoffs both these sites are perfect for backing the Minnesota Wild and other NHL teams.
MN Betting Apps for MLB
Whether you want to wager on the runline, moneyline, totals or try your luck on a prop bet, BetOnline and Everygame are two of the very best MLB betting apps in Minnesota. You can also back the Twins to win a World Series with a futures bet at both these apps.
Golf Betting Apps in Minnesota
The TPC Twin Cities in Blaine MN designed by Arnold Palmer and Tom Lehman is PGA’s only privately owned course. You can bet on the 3m tournament held here or other PGA events such as the Masters and the US Open at Bovada and BetUS two of the best golf betting apps online.
Horse Racing
Two of the best horse racing betting apps in Minnesota are Jazz Sports and BUSR. Both sites provide daily action from courses around the globe and provide markets for outright winners, each way, and exotic markets.
DFS
Daily Fantasy Sports is readily available in Minnesota and residents can use sites such as DraftKings and Fanduel to get their daily dose of fantasy.
Minnesota Sports Betting Apps & Mobile Sites for iPhone & Android
MN mobile betting sites come in two flavors: Android and iOS. As discussed before, you won’t be playing at these sites through Android or iPhone Minnesota betting apps. Instead, you’ll simply visit them with a smartphone or tablet and wager through your mobile browser.
Android
Over 70% of smartphone users rely on an Android device. If a Minnesota sportsbook must choose between Android and iOS, they’ll pick the former. It can even host an Android betting site on its website if necessary—rather than putting the app on Google Play.
The drawback to downloading these apps off a website, though, is that the process is a bit more complex. Regardless, you shouldn’t struggle to obtain the app if you’re proficient with a smartphone.
iPhone
Devices that run iOS comprise a quarter of the worldwide market. Therefore, any MN mobile sportsbook will usually provide an iOS app along with an Android app. In this case, you can download it at the App Store via an iPhone or iPad.
IOS betting apps generally run smoothly and with no delays. Assuming a problem crops up, then the latest update should take care of the problem.
Mobile Sites vs Apps for Betting in Minnesota
You don’t have the option of choosing between Minnesota betting apps and mobile sites. No sports betting app currently exists in Minnesota. Assuming the option ever arises, though, you might find the following comparisons worthwhile.
Minnesota Mobile Gambling Sites
A mobile sportsbook site doesn’t require you to download anything. It also does not force you to fire up an app before every session. Instead, you simply visit the website directly through an iPhone or Android to place wagers. One drawback is that operators don’t provide frequent updates for their sites, as would be the case with an app.
What we like:
- No need to download
- Available at all Minnesota mobile sportsbooks
- Doesn’t take up storage on your phone
What we don’t:
- Can’t sign in with your fingerprint
- Operators can take a while to provide updates
Minnesota Betting Apps
If they existed, genuine MN betting apps would provide helpful features that aren’t available on websites. For example, you could use your fingerprint to sign into a mobile sportsbook. On the downside, they require you to download the app and store it on your device.
What we like:
- Operating system provides regular updates
- Safe and secure way to bet
- Extra features (e.g. thumbprint ID)
What we don’t:
- Must download and store on your device
- Not available in Minnesota and many other states
