The Stupid, Funny Thing of the Day

Check out this great video of the Jazz Bear getting down to the music and forcing the referee into a couple moves too. This probably could have earned a tech, but the ref couldn’t help but smile.

Dominique Wilkins re-made his famous pose under the London Tower Bridge from 21 years ago. Something tells us Nique can still throw down a couple with a quick warm-up.

YouTube of the Night

Take a look at a behind the scenes of a video shoot the Brooklyn Nets did trying to get their players to dance to “The Cookie Dance.” Anybody surprised that it looks like Brook Lopez has never stepped on the dance floor? He probably has more enthusiasm eating cereal every morning. It’s pretty sad when the kid in the background clearly has better moves than any of these guys.

Hey, cool your jets there Pop! Spurs coach Gregg Popovich goes bananas on a ref for a no-call after a time-out that earned him an ejection in the third quarter against the Blazers. It’s crazy how much referee Bill Kennedy lets slide before he finally gives him the hook. Hopefully there were no children on the sidelines because Pop was spitting venom while he could.

Stat Stuffers of the Night

Houston Rockets’ Terrence Jones: 36 points, 11 rebounds in 114-104 win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Indiana Pacers’ Paul George: 36 points, 6 rebounds and this in a 106-92 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

New Orleans Pelicans’ Anthony Davis: 31 points, 17 rebounds in 97-87 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
