The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day

Rob Ferrel (@robtheoriginal) has seen himself as an artist his entire life. “I knew I loved to draw before I could read and write,” he says. Today, Rob is a professional hair artist and founder of Rob the Original Barbershop in San Antonio, Texas. As the local San Antonio Spurs (@officialspurs) enter a rematch with the Miami Heat (@miamiheat) in the NBA Finals tonight, requests for his popular basketball-themed styles continue from Spurs and Heat fans alike. Rob’s toolkit includes standard barber clippers and razors, but also colored eyeliner for the finishing touches. “I create every shape and shade on the portrait—like a puzzle,” Rob says. “You can only do so much with hair, so the eyeliner perfects the picture and makes it look realistic.” To see more creative hair art, follow @robtheoriginal. Wow. May we say the most detailed haircut ever? We challenge you to show us something better as this Spurs super fan gets a fresh cut with his favorite player Tim Duncan as the main feature.

Vine of the Night

We got some vintage Jesus Shuttlesworth in the house tonight! Watch HEAT guard Ray Allen look off his teammate LeBron James and take it straight to the cup for the vicious throw-down by himself.

Best Game 1 Moments Mix

In honor of the Finals kicking off tonight, here’s a great mix of some of the best moments from Game 1’s over the years.

Kicks of the Day

These sweet LeBron 11’s “South Beach” will be hitting the shelves on June 21st, you can be sure sneakerheads are already saving their paychecks to pick these up right away.

Throwback of the Day

For many of us who were too young to watch Julius Erving in his prime, we certainly missed out on one of the best and most entertaining players of all-time. This mix does a great job of catching some of the best moments from Dr. J.

Dunk of the Day

Six-foot guard Charlie Shorter may not be known since he played for Mid-America Christian University of the NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Association); but he put his name out there with this sick dunk. This ridiculous slam looks so effortless, Shorter made every jaw in the gym drop.

Swag of the Night

HEAT guard Mario Chalmers may not be rocking this outfit after having to play in 88 degrees due to an air conditioning failure in AT&T Center of Game 1 in San Antonio, but he is swagged out for a cold night in December next year.
