The Knicks followed the Nets’ path of hiring a coach just as his playing days came to end as Knicks president Phil Jackson brings in his old friend Derek Fisher to roam the sidelines as the head coach. In honor of this great moment for Fisher, here’s a mix of the best moments from Fisher’s career. With the adidas EUROCAMP going on, it created a great opportunity to see high school sophomore seven-footer Thon Maker go to battle against likely NBA Draft pick Mouhammadou Jaiteh from France. Jaiteh may have won the day with his size, experience and strength, but scouts have to be excited that Maker held his own at his age against somebody who will likely be playing in the NBA next year. Maker’s potential is off the charts and it will be interesting if he re-classifies.
