The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day
So in case you were wondering what Raptors forward Landry Fields is doing, lets just say he’s having fun. After already dressing up as Lionel Richie, Fields takes it step further by dressing up and singing as Nicki Minaj on ABC’s “Sing Your Face Off”. We hope his teammates and especially opponents make good use of this material at Landry’s expense next season.
Congratulations Derek Fisher!
The Knicks followed the Nets’ path of hiring a coach just as his playing days came to end as Knicks president Phil Jackson brings in his old friend Derek Fisher to roam the sidelines as the head coach. In honor of this great moment for Fisher, here’s a mix of the best moments from Fisher’s career. After making a career of hitting clutch shots, all we can say is we’ll miss that patented jumper, Fish.
Dunk of the Night
The HEAT were able to even the Finals last night against the Spurs in enemy territory and forward Chris Bosh was a huge reason why. Check out this awesome and-one slam by Bosh to sap the Spurs energy and pump up his team.
Vine of the Night
It may be cliche at this point, but we still chuckle at the “Bosh Looks Like a Dinosaur” jokes that keeping appearing. It’s hard not to laugh with this Jurassic Park-inspired Vine.

He may be way before their time, but these kids certainly know it’s time to get excited if Michael Jordan walks through the door. MJ will be 80 and he’ll still draw a screaming crowd.

With the adidas EUROCAMP going on, it created a great opportunity to see high school sophomore seven-footer Thon Maker go to battle against likely NBA Draft pick Mouhammadou Jaiteh from France. Jaiteh may have won the day with his size, experience and strength, but scouts have to be excited that Maker held his own at his age against somebody who will likely be playing in the NBA next year. Maker’s potential is off the charts and it will be interesting if he re-classifies.

Two of the greatest at their chosen sports got together to snap a photo and even set aside their teams to do it. Former Lakers great and Los Angeles Kings fan Kareem Abdul-Jaabar and former Yankees closer and New York Rangers fan Mariano Rivera took this pic.
Kicks of the Day
You have to like yellow to appreciate these, but if HEAT guard Ray Allen digs them, what’s not to like?
Swag of the Day
In the pursuit of success major challenges arise. Things that will come out of nowhere and test you in unknown ways. When things get tough and you feel like giving up remember that it's never easy, no matter what you do. The gauntlet will always be there waiting for you so you might as well attack it! Make it your job doing the tough things… And look good while you do it. #mrnicetie
We love Bosh fully jumping into the “nerd” look with this outfit. Major respect for rocking the bow-tie with those glasses.
