The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day

Bucks forward Jabari Parker got a little bored while at the rookie photo shoot and decided to mess around with snap chat a little bit. Why a pirate? Because Jabari is just awesome, that’s why.

That’s right, we got three awesome dunks for you to enjoy tonight. First, Bulls guard Derrick Rose shows he’s just fine at the Team USA scrimmage on Friday. Next, Jazz forward Jeremy Evans proves how heartless he is while murdering a helpless fan while playing 2-on-1. Just goes to show you should never jump unless you can match Jeremy’s hops. Lastly, Timberwolves forward Glenn Robinson III shows off his amazing dunking genes thanks to his old man.

Tweet of the Day

Passionate basketball fan and famous boxer Floyd Mayweather had to make a stop to pay his well-wishes to Pacers forward Paul George after his horrific leg injury. Get well PG, you’ll be back on the floor exciting us all in no time.

While at the Nike RISE event in China, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant showed he’s still got it despite his age and recent injuries. He may be going against fans and playing half speed, but you know Kobe will be ready to go next year to put young challengers in their place.

Buzzer-Beater of the Night

Before George’s injury put the wraps on the Team USA scrimmage, Blazers guard Damian Lillard got the crowd hyped with this amazing half court buzzer-beater.

Whew! Bucks guard Brandon Knight showed off his incredible hops with a 60 inch box jump and did it clean. Good to know Knight will have a nice career on the track field if basketball doesn’t work out with his natural athleticism.

Next Man Up? Meet Allonzo Trier

The 6’4 guard out of Findlay Prep Allonzo Trier just committed to join a stacked Class of 2015 class at Arizona today. If you haven’t heard Trier’s name yet, just know the kid can get buckets at will. Arguably the most potent scorer of his class, Trier looks like the second coming of Nick Young as he continues to light up his opponents anyway he can.

Kicks of the Day

Have to give credit to the boss Steve Kyler for snapping a photo of Tracy McGrady’s adidas RG3 Energy Trainer Boosts while covering adidas Nations. Kyler may be all business, but he’s a massive sneaker head just like the rest of us.

Swag of the Day

Got to love Timberwolves forward Glenn Robinson III’s pink tie to go with this great suit selection. More important to Glenn than his swag is his trainer who helped get him to the NBA.
