Quinnipiac senior forwards Ousmane Drame and Justin Harris combined for 30 points and 21 rebounds in the Bobcats’ 80-65 victory over visiting Lehigh in a nonconference game Thursday night.

Drame had 19 points and 11 rebounds and Harris added 11 points and 10 rebounds as Quinnipiac (4-5) outrebounded Lehigh 53-30.

The Mountain Hawks’ leading rebounders were sophomore center Tim Kempton Jr., son of the former Notre Dame and NBA player, and junior forward Jesse Chuku with five rebounds apiece. Corey Schaefer, a senior guard, led Lehigh (4-5) in scoring with 11 points.

Quinnipiac, of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, took control of the game by outscoring Lehigh 20-10 in the last seven minutes of the first half to build a 44-32 lead at intermission.

The Bobcats, who never trailed in the game, did not allow Lehigh to get any closer in the second half. They led by as many as 22 points against the Mountain Hawks, who are in the Patriot League.

Quinnipiac, which snapped a three-game losing streak, had three other players who scored in double figures. Senior guard Zaid Hearst had 13 points, junior guard James Ford Jr. 12 and sophomore guard Kasim Chandler 10.

The Bobcats host Oregon State of the Pac-12 Sunday at TD Bank Sports Center in Hamden, Conn. Lehigh also faces a Pac-12 team in its next game, against Arizona State in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday.
