MADISON, Wis. – Center Frank Kaminsky recorded his 10th double-double of the season, finishing with 23 points and 10 rebounds, as fifth-ranked Wisconsin extended its winning streak to eight games with a 68-49 over Illinois Sunday afternoon at the Kohl Center.

Kaminsky anchored Wisconsin’s offense in the first half, hitting eight of nine from the field for 17 points. His output helped make up for the Badgers’ 0-for-5 showing from beyond the 3-point in the first 20 minutes.

The Badgers made five 3-pointers in the second half to finish the game 5 of 14 from beyond the arc. Overall, they shot 51 percent from the field.

Wisconsin (23-2, 11-1 Big Ten) also got 15 points from guard Bronson Koenig, 14 from forward Nigel Hayes and 10 from forward Sam Dekker.

Guard Malcom Hill scored 15 points and guard Rayvonte Rice overcame early foul trouble to finish with 10 for the Illini (17-9, 7-6 Big Ten), whose winning streak came to an end at four games.

Arizona 86, Washington State 59

PULLMAN, Wash. — Forwards Brandon Ashley and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and center Kaleb Tarczewski scored 17 points apiece as the seventh-ranked Wildcats routed the Cougars. Arizona started a 19-1 run midway through the first half to take control of the game.

Point guard T.J. McConnell added 14 points, eight assists and four steals for the Wildcats (22-3, 10-2 Pac-12).

Washington State guard Dexter Kernich-Drew sank six of nine shots from 3-point range and scored a game-high 20 points (17 in the second half). Backcourt partner DaVonte Lacy scored 17 of his 18 points after the Cougars (11-14, 5-8) fell behind 53-19 at the half.

Utah 76, California 61

SALT LAKE CITY — Center Jakob Poeltl scored 18 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and guard Delon Wright added 16 points to lift the 11th-ranked Utes to a victory over the Bears.

Guard Brandon Taylor had 13 points and guard Dakarai Tucker added 12 off the bench to give Utah (20-4, 10-2 Pac-12) its first home win over Cal since joining the Pac-12.

Tyrone Wallace scored 26 points on 11-of-15 shooting, and fellow guard Jabari Bird added 21 on 10-of-14 shooting for the Bears (16-10, 6-7). However, Cal saw its five-game winning streak end.

Northern Iowa 68, Missouri State 57

Forward Seth Tuttle made all seven of his field-goal attempts in the first half and finished with 22 points to help 13th-ranked Northern Iowa win at JQH Arena in Springfield, Mo.

The Panthers (24-2, 13-1 Missouri Valley Conference) won their 13th straight game and joined Wichita State atop the conference standings.

Forward Camyn Boone scored 14 points for the Bears (9-17, 3-11), who dressed only nine players and lost for the 11th time in 12 games.
