NBA Cup Knockouts Preview
Orlando and Milwaukee kick off the knockout action on Tuesday night, with what should be a good game between two teams with positive records.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the leading contenders for this season’s MVP and will no doubt lead the Bucks with another big performance on Tuesday. Orlando on the other hand have been frustrated with injuries of late and Franz Wagner will miss the rest of the Cup with a long term injury.
The Bucks-Magic clash is followed shortly after by what promises to be one of the best matchups in the tournament so far between OKC and the Mavericks.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is currently favorite in the Cup MVP betting at +300 with the best online betting sites, but Luka Doncic and Dallas will certainly be no walkover in a rematch of last year’s Conference semi final.
Wednesday night is kicked off with the Hawks at Madison Square Garden facing the Knicks, with the current fourth seed in the East taking on the seventh.
Josh Hart of the Knicks recently revealed that he has an extra desire to win the Cup as he looks to buy a new watch ahead of Christmas.
The final matchup of the NBA Cup quarter finals is the Warriors in Houston to face the Rockets. The Rockets have been one of the biggest surprises so far this season and they are sure to be a tough test for the Warriors on the road.
