Suns’ Watson: Len ‘Amazing’; ‘We absolutely love him’
In (Tyson) Chandler’s absence, Suns center Alex Len has averaged 11.8 points, 9.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game with 62 percent shooting from the field. (Eric) Bledsoe called him “a monster” for the way he protected the paint in Wednesday’s win. He also continues to avoid fouls better, averaging only 3.0 in his past four starts.
With no practice time to acclimate Chandler, Len might remain a starter Friday night against Minnesota.
“A-Len’s amazing,” Watson said. “He’s growing every game. We absolutely love him. Multi-talented. He doesn’t get a lot of touches, but when he does, he’s efficient with it. I think he could, one day in the future, be a guy you could play out of the post with, just watch him work and pass and go to work.”
