Magic Sign Ridnour to Add Backcourt Depth
The Magic signed Ridnour, a pass-first point guard, to a two-year contract Friday.
Ridnour’s salary for the upcoming season is fully guaranteed, while his salary for 2015-16 is non-guaranteed.
Team officials want the 33-year-old to provide backcourt depth.
“I had a lot of offers,” Ridnour said. “They were the most interested from the start, I think. It’s an opportunity just to come out here and help the young guys get better and be a part of something that they’re building here. My family was really excited to get out to some warm weather. You know, that helps. They’re excited; that helped me make my decision, too.
