The Funny, Stupid Thing of the Day

Aw, why you got to be so mean to the girl, Greg Oden? We know this really isn’t that funny, but we got a sick sense of humor. The seven-foot beast of a man that is Oden decided to show off his all-star volleyball skills and nailed an opposing female opponent right in the grill. Anybody kind of think it’s her fault for jumping in the first place?

Dunk of the Day

No worries, hoop freaks, we got some crazy dunks for you covered until Summer League starts up again. Pro dunker Haneef Munir aka “Young Hollywood” took this dunk contest to the next level by dunking over a lady in heels standing on a chair and did it clean. That poor girl was probably terrified as she couldn’t even face it.

Instagram of the Day

Nobody is going to invade Poland if Wizards center Marcin Gortat has anything to say about it. “The Polish Hammer” is armed and ready for battle, so everybody get out of his way if he comes to your town.

Allen Iverson Highlights That Didn’t Count

These awesome plays by Allen Iverson may not have counted when he pulled them off, but damn, everyone votes that they should have. We know we got a lot of lifetime Iverson fans here, so here’s just another reason why A.I. was one of the best at all-time at keeping fans entertained and happy.

Tweet of the Day

With LeBron James officially able to meet with teams and possible relocate tonight, HEAT fans are doing their best to make sure that doesn’t happen. #BandForBron is in full effect, even this local congregation is putting in their work.

YouTube of the Day

As baseball and the World Cup take control of the sports universe, even NBA stars have to get in on the action. Check out Rockets guard James Harden give a big rainbow first pitch at an Astros game. The best part? Harden is wearing cut jean shorts, yes jorts!

Swag of the Day

Blazers guard C.J. McCollum definitely has his old man, Errick, beat when it comes to the suit game.

Next Man Up? Meet Terrance Ferguson

He may only be a sophomore, but 6’6” guard Terrance Ferguson out of Prime Prep Academy in Dallas has some serious hops. Watch this fantastic compilation of dunks that Ferguson can pull off and be eye-level with the rim while doing it. This young man’s athleticism alone is why he’s going to have his pick of any college he wants to play for in a couple years.

Kicks of the Day

Clippers forward Matt Barnes doesn’t mess around when it comes to choosing his game-day kicks. Either one of those are a winning pick to us.

Draft Clip of the Night

We’re pretty sure everyone did a collective head nod of approval when the Spurs took forward Kyle Anderson out of UCLA with the final pick of the first round. Prior to the draft, Anderson was telling young fans how he’d love to play for the Spurs and encouraging them to watch them to see the best basketball played. On Thursday night, Anderson’s wish came true as the Spurs again take another talented prospect who wants to be there and work to help them win. Just another day at the office for the champs.
