DeMarcus Cousins can sum up his feelings about the Kings’ offense in nine words: “I love it. I love it. I love it.

New coach Dave Joerger plans to use Cousins in the high post more, allowing the two-time All-Star center to be more of a facilitator while continuing to be a scoring threat.

Joerger wants the Kings to avoid bad habits, such as players staring at Cousins and not moving when he has the ball. So expect a lot of movement around Cousins when he is in the high post.

The New York Knicks have agreed to trade 10-time All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony to the Oklahoma City Thunder, league sources told ESPN on Saturday.

The Thunder will send center Enes Kanter, forward Doug McDermott and a 2018 second-round pick (via the Chicago Bulls) to New York, league sources said. Anthony, 33, will waive his no-trade clause and his $8.1 million trade kicker to accommodate the deal, league sources told ESPN.

Enes Kanter After Being Traded:’Beat the Warriors For Me’

Shortly after learning he was being traded from Oklahoma City to the New York Knicks, center Enes Kanter posted a video thanking the Thunder organization, its fans and the city, and imploring the team to beat the Golden State Warriors.

“Please beat the Warriors for me,” Kanter said in a heartfelt goodbye video posted to his Instagram account Saturday afternoon. “Please, I’m gonna be watching that game, so please beat the Warriors for me.” Kanter is set to be traded to New York as part of a deal that will send 10-time All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony to the Thunder, sources told ESPN.
