Beverley will be a restricted free agent this summer.
While his immediate goal to return in time to help during the playoffs, Beverley hopes to continue playing for the Rockets.
“I want to be in Houston. I want to be a part of this whole thing that we’ve built since me and James first got here, but that’s not under my control. That’s up to my agent and (general manager) Daryl Morey of the Rockets. It’s going to be interesting this summer. I’m just happy I put myself in a position where I can play basketball and earn enough money to take care of my family.”
