James Harden: ‘Something had to change’

But you can’t fire (James) Harden and you don’t bring (Dwight) Howard to Houston just to be 10th in the West after Wednesday night.
“We are responsible. … It’s got to be a wake-up call,” said (Corey) Brewer, who insisted the Rockets let down (Kevin) McHale and stressed that the ex-coach hadn’t lost the locker room.
“Something had to change,” Harden said. “I feel like for me, I had to change.”
