Mavericks Awaiting JaVale McGee’s Decision?

The 7-foot shot-blocker (JaVale McGee) is not completely ruled out in Boston, apparently, but there is a long list of teams that are vying for his services and most of them have more playing time to assure McGee than the Mavericks would have to offer.

That said, they have made their interest known and no doubt have reminded McGee’s camp that the Maverick payroll is expected to have plenty of cap space to go around this summer, although they are not offering more than a minimum contract for the rest of this season.

Most likely, McGee will end up some place else. But the Mavericks are in the conversation.
