For Dallas Mavericks fans, the news is that (Chandler) Parsons was strolling down the street (and stopping for the occasional smooch) without the aid of crutches.

Parsons, who underwent a complicated arthroscopic procedure to repair cartilage damage in his left knee on May 1, used crutches during a public appearance a couple of weeks ago.

Sources from the team and Parsons’ camp have expressed strong confidence that his recovery will not cause the Mavs small forward to miss any time next season.
