The NBA has fined Dallas Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle $25,000 for publicly criticizing the officials after Friday night’s Game 3 loss to the Houston Rockets.
“I have strong feelings about how I feel about my team, and I’m going to fight for my team,” Carlisle said after the fine was announced Saturday. “That’s just the way it’s going to be. I’m a lot like my owner. I’m going to fight for my guys. I understand the fine. I accept it, and I think they’ll put the money to very good use.”
