Guard Gal Mekel is busy going through his rehab. But the Dallas Mavericks have no timetable set for his return.

Mekel underwent surgery on his right knee on Jan. 17, and coach Rick Carlisle has no idea when the rookie from Israel will be able to play again.

“He’s on the court shooting and doing some light running and so I would say that he’s on schedule or ahead of schedule,’’ Carlisle said Monday. “I just don’t know what the schedule is.’’
