Free Agency Diary 2017
Sources: Millsap Meeting With Timberwolves
Paul Millsap has a meeting lined up with the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday, league sources told Basketball Insiders.
Millsap, 32, is one of the top unrestricted free agents on the market. Millsap has been an All-Star for the past four seasons averaging 17.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game over that span.
The Timberwolves are the latest suitor to emerge for Millsap. The Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns are also in the mix for Millsap.
In addition, the Sacramento Kings have interest in landing Millsap. Kings Vice President of Basketball Operations Scott Perry has admired Millsap for many years. Perry targeted him in free agency while part of the Orlando Magic front office.
Millsap remains unlikely to return to the Atlanta Hawks where he became a four-time All-Star.
