UConn’s Hamilton, Purvis, Brimah to Test NBA Waters

Three members of the UConn men’s basketball team, all with college eligibility remaining, have decided to take advantage of a new NBA Draft rule that allows players who do not hire an agent to work out for NBA teams and receive feedback from those teams before deciding whether to keep their names in the draft or return to college with no penalty.

Sophomore Daniel Hamilton (Los Angeles, Calif.), junior Amida Brimah (Accra, Ghana) and redshirt junior Rodney Purvis (Raleigh, N.C.) have announced their intention to do so.
