No Timetable for Blake Griffin; Rivers Says ‘Not Close’

Working, in (Blake) Griffin’s case, is shooting, something Doc Rivers said he’s been doing over the past week. Griffin, who was out with a slight tear in his left quad before breaking his hand in a fight, also has used the time to allow his leg to heal.

Still, there’s no immediate timetable. Monday will be five weeks since Griffin underwent the initial surgery on his right hand.

“I mean, he’s not close or anything,” Doc Rivers said, “he’s just shooting a basketball.”
