(Carmelo) Anthony scored 21 of his 25 points in the second half, passing Charles Barkley for 25th on the league’s all-time scoring list. He got a kick out of surpassing the enemy of both LeBron James and Charles Oakley, not to mention the longtime Knicks denigrator as a TNT analyst.
“Oh Barkley?” Anthony paused and smiled. “It’s an honor. Anytime you can move on up on that list, especially 25. It’s definitely an honor. I’ll take it.”
