(New York Knicks) Carmelo Anthony says his rehab from left knee surgery is ahead of schedule.
“I’m doing extremely well,” the New York Knicks forward said in a phone interview with ESPN.com to discuss his new ownership of a soccer team in Puerto Rico. “Rehab is going very, very well. I’m actually ahead of schedule [compared] to where everybody predicted I would be at this point in time.”
Anthony underwent season-ending surgery to repair a tendon issue shortly after February’s All-Star Game. In mid-April, Anthony said he would be completely healthy by training camp. He is still on pace to achieve that goal.
