Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said the decision to give Tony Parker a one-game head start on his All-Star break was not a difficult one.

“He’s not himself mentally or physically,” Popovich said before Wednesday’s 104-92 win over the Celtics at TD Garden. “He’ll do more good at home resting than he will playing with us.”
