Westbrook One Rebound Shy of Breaking T-D Record

The Westbrook triple-double streak ended at eight consecutive games, and he’s still tied with Oscar Robertson for the single-season triple-double record of 41. But the season of clutch performance continued despite the Thunder (Westbrook included) doing its worst from the free throw line to keep their Western Conference rivals alive in a back-and-forth fourth quarter.
Westbrook finished with 45 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds. His eighth and final 3-point make of the game, from the right wing with 14 seconds left, put the Thunder ahead 101-97.
