As he continues his march toward NBA history, Russell Westbrook reached a milestone Sunday in the Thunder’s 113-101 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, passing the 15,000-point scoring mark.

Westbrook is third all time in Oklahoma City Thunder/Seattle SuperSonics history, behind Gary Payton (18,207) and Kevin Durant (17,566). “No, it doesn’t,” Westbrook said of whether passing the milestone registers with him. “But it’s definitely something that I won’t take for granted. To be able to play this game for long enough to do that is a blessing in itself.”
