Anthony Davis Leaves Game with Chest Injury

During a timeout with 5:44 remaining in the opening quarter, (Anthony) Davis had his hands on his chest appearing to be in discomfort. He returned to the court but asked out of the game at the 5:30 mark.
”I just know when he was on the bench, he was wincing as if he couldn’t breathe,” (coach Monty) Williams said.”So I was hesitant to put him back in the game and he then he wanted to go back out. We watched him for awhile and he took himself out. That’s when I knew he didn’t feel right. And he was waiting for himself to feel better when he was in the back (locker room), but it never came back. So we’ll have a better idea of what’s going on (Saturday).”
