Oscar Robertson’s Chat with Raptors Impactful

(Raptors coach Dwane) Casey was approached by senior basketball adviser Wayne Embry recently on how he would feel about bringing in one of the all-time NBA greats Oscar Robertson to chat with the team.

Casey didn’t have to think too hard about this one. Robertson embodies everything Casey wants his team to be about: Respect for the game, competitiveness and the personification of a good teammate.

While it’s possible, even likely, that not all of the players fully appreciated the opportunity, it was apparent Robertson had the desired impact on many.
