Creighton senior forward Doug McDermott and Connecticut senior guard Shabazz Napier highlight the Wooden Award All-American team, which was announced Monday.

McDermott went over the 3,000 career points mark earlier this season. He was also named to the Associated Press All-American team, becoming the first player in 29 years to earn the honor three times.

Napier led UConn, a No. 7 seed, to the Final Four with 25 points Sunday in a win over Michigan State. A year ago, the Huskies were ineligible for the NCAA Tournament because of academic restrictions.

Only two freshmen were named to the team: Kansas guard Andrew Wiggins and Duke forward Jabari Parker.

The rest of the Wooden All-American team included: Wichita State senior forward Cleanthony Early; Cincinnati senior guard Sean Kilpatrick; Arizona junior guard Nick Johnson; Florida senior forward Casey Prather; Louisville senior guard Russ Smith; and Michigan sophomore guard Nik Stauskas.
