And while he refuses to use it as an excuse, he (Meyers Leonard) has been playing through numbness in his left hand since the season opener when he took a shot in the elbow and injured his ulnar nerve.
“I just can’t feel the outside of my hand and my pinkie,” he said following the Blazers loss to the Phoenix Suns on Monday. “No strength, it’s weird.”
