The Wizards can’t catch a break with Bradley Beal. Just as he made a game-changing play in overtime to block Jameer Nelson at the rim, Beal went down shortly after with what the team called a sprained right ankle on Friday night.

Beal, who has dealt with injury to the lower right leg in both bones, is day-to-day but that’s a preliminary diagnosis to rule out a bone break.
