Giannis Hits First Career Buzzer Beater in Win Over Knicks

The legend of Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to grow.
“The Greek Freak” forced a turnover off Derrick Rose with 8.6 seconds left before calmly taking an inbounds pass, backing down Lance Thomas and burying a 15-foot step-back buzzer-beater to help the Milwaukee Bucks stun Carmelo Anthony and the reeling New York Knicks 105-104 on Wednesday.
It was Antetokounmpo’s first career walk-off game winner, and it came at Madison Square Garden, no less. The shot left Anthony shaking his head and the Garden completely deflated as the Bucks celebrated around their franchise player.
