Kendrick Perkins never ceases to be amazed by his ex-Celts captain, Paul Pierce.

“I don’t know if the Wizards know what kind of a killer they’ve got over there.” Perkins said.

Perkins obviously knows, and believes that if Pierce is so inclined, he could extend his career despite some obvious signs of late-season erosion.

“I think he can play longer,” he said. “It’s all up to him, though. He doesn’t know how his body will hold up. But he looks good.”

“He can play a few more years. One thing about P, as people all know, you should never sleep on him. You know what to expect out of P. He’s the Truth for a reason.”
