University of Portland Hires Terry Porter as Head Coach

Terry Porter, the former coach of the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns and 17-year NBA point guard, was hired Friday as coach of the NCAA Division I Portland Pilots.

On Friday night, the school said Porter will be introduced as the team’s coach at a campus event Tuesday. He will replace Eric Reveno, who was dismissed last month after 10 years with the Pilots.
