The decision on what to do with Jarell Eddie’s non-guaranteed contract will be delayed after both sides agreed to “push” the date to the start of the regular season, league sources told CSNmidatlantic.com on Friday.

Eddie, a 6-7 guard who has shown well at summer league, is due to make $980,000 in his second season with the Wizards if he’s deal was guaranteed by the original deadline today.

The Wizards, however, still have moves to make to retool their roster and asked Eddie agreed to move back the guarantee date. It seems like a risky move now that the Wizards have extended partial guarantees to Danuel House, Sheldon McClellan and Daniel Ochefu to attend training camp.
